SECRETARY GENERAL
With a view to encouraging persons making significant contribution towards mitigating human hardships and alleviating poverty, the Foundation proposes to launch’ The Jindal Prize’.
There shall initially be four institutional and four individual prizes each of Rs one crore and Rs 25 lakh respectively. The Prize shall conform to international standards. The Prize Secretariat shall be located at Delhi.
For the position of Secretary General in the Prize Secretariat, the Foundation is looking for
- services of an experienced person
- preferably a retired IAS officer
Secretary General being the Chief Executive officer of the Prize Secretariat holds a responsible position. He is expected to plan, lead, supervise and successfully implement the Prize Scheme. He is expected to maintain devotion to duty with high standard of integrity, professionalism and to bear moral and ethical conduct.
Desired candidate profile
The incumbent with rich administrative experience (minimum 15 years) and sound health should have zeal to serve the society at large. Proficiency in use of computers will be desirable.
